Complete Music Education at the SJRSC means that we concentrate on learning MUSIC FIRST. Every student is encouraged to learn the musical styles he or she most enjoys. Our students are exposed to a variety of music styles that include Jazz, Rock, Funk, Brazilian, Afro-Cuban, African, and Classical. The basic elements of learning an instrument are approached. Emphasis is placed on learning technique, reading, musical time and feel, and transcriptions.
